Miss Gayathri Rajeev
Gayathri Rajeev is a second year PhD student at Future Industries Institute, University of South Australia (UniSA), in Voelcker laboratories. Her research focusses on fabrication of nanoporous anodic aluminium structures and their application in electrochemical and optical biosensing for monitoring the healing trajectory of chronic wounds. She completed her masters in nanotechnology from Amity university, India before coming to Australia to pursue her research studies. She arrived Australia in 2013 to carry out her master’s thesis and obtained the University President’s Scholarship to pursue PhD in University of South Australia. Her interests apart from research lies in organising events at various levels, taking part in social gatherings, travelling, photography, badminton, reading and participating in healthy debates.
