Registration is now open!

Online registration is now open for the International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology 2018.

Please ensure you have read all the information on fees and inclusions, accommodation, and payment methods and cancellations before registering.

On an individual form, 15 minutes is the maximum allowance to complete the form before the system times out.

Do not use your internet browser's ‘back’ button during the online registration process. You will have the opportunity to review and edit registration details before the final stage of confirmation and payment for the booking.

Internet Explorer and Google Chrome are the preferred Internet platforms.

FEES & INCLUSIONS

All participants are required to officially register. Please read the following information before completing an online registration form.

Conference fees are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST (ABN: 59 115 015 953).

How to apply: ANN will be providing free registration to Australian based PhD students and ECR's (within 5 years of PhD award) that are ANN members and presenting papers at ICONN 2018 (presenting author only). Please see www.ausnano.net for details on how to become a member and take advantage of this opportunity.

In order to be eligible you must be:

  • A current ANN member.
  • A current PhD Student or ECR at an Australian University or Australian Institution.
  • Have submitted an abstract as the presenting author through the "on-line" paper submission" page of the conference website (the paper must have been submitted as one of the ICONN themes).
  • Received acceptance of abstract.

If you successfully meet the above the Conference Organiser will send you a special link to register for the Conference. Please note: You will be required to provide a Statement or Evidence of enrolment during the registration process

Disclaimer - If the number of requests exceeds the allocated budget set by ANN Management Committee, presenters from out of the local area will be given preference.

PAYMENT METHODS AND CANCELLATIONS

PAYMENT METHODS

Full payment of fees is required prior to the Conference. Payment can be made in the following manner:

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT

Visa, MasterCard and Amex are accepted. All registrations paid for by Credit Card will incur a 1.5% fee.

The payment site uses SSL Security and 1024 bit encryption and is best viewed in Internet Explorer.

CHEQUE PAYMENT

Please make cheque/bank draft in Australian Dollars payable to “WALDRONSMITH Management Pty Ltd – ICONN” and mail to the Conference Office.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Registration Fees

Registration Fees Cancellation of a registration must be advised via email to the Conference Office via Charlene@wsm.com.au. Verbal changes of cancellations cannot be accepted.

The following refunds will apply from the date of receipt of notification:

  • On or before 28 October 2017: 100% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST
  • On or before 28 November 2017: 75% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST
  • On or before 28 December 2017: 50% refund less an administration fee of $110 including GST
  • After 28 December 2017: no refund available

The refund will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. No refund will be made after 28 December 2017 however an alternative delegate name may be provided in writing and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.

Please note no refund or discount will be made if a function or event within the registration fee is not taken up or is subsequently cancelled.

Optional functions or events may be cancelled before or on after 14 January 2018 and will be refunded in full via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.

After 14 January 2018 no refunds will be made however an alternative delegate name may be provided via email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly. Where there is extenuating circumstances a refund outside of these terms may be considered by and at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

Accommodation

For accommodation cancellation policies, please refer to the individual hotel policies noted on the website. Any amendments to original hotel bookings must be forwarded via email to the Conference Office. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted nor will the hotels accept any changes direct.

Insurance

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the Conference Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

Tax

All Conference registration fees, social function ticket and pre-conference workshop ticket rates are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of 10% GST.

Please note during the ICONN 2018 Conference your image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of the ICONN 2018 Conference, and may be distributed or published at the discretion of the ICONN 2018 Conference Organising Committee. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the ICONN 2018 Conference Office.
