Advanced Nanomaterials Workshop
University of Melbourne 30/01/2014 - 31/01/2014
This workshop brings leading researchers together with Australian nanotechnology experts to discuss the future trends in the development of nanoscale materials. In particular, the workshop will explore completely new ideas for the way nanomaterials can be used to help solve the number one scientific challenge in the world – creating a sustainable energy future. The visit to Australia by Dr Eric Isaacs, Director of Argonne National Laboratories, coincides with a large number of high profile speakers attending ICONN2014, meaning this workshop will feature world experts and research. Public lecture Dr Eric Isaacs will give a public lecture, co-hosted with the Melbourne Energy Institute, Energy Future: the developments in materials to meet alternative energy challenges the day before the workshop, Thursday 30 January. He will also give a plenary lecture at the workshop.
