OzNano2life: 3rd Workshop

The workshop will provide an update on the progress on the OzNano2Life-funded research projects that are being conducted at CSIRO (Livestock Industries), CSIRO (Molecular & Health Technologies), University of Queensland and UTS. During the workshop, several of the European partners will also speak on international perspectives in nanobiotechnology and many of the Australian partners will speak about developments in nanobiotechnology. The workshop will be opened by the French Ambassador, H.E. François Descoueyte, and the OzNano2Life program will be launched by the Speaker of the N.S.W. Legislative Assembly, Hon John Aquilina. The OzNano2Life program is funded by a grant from DEST under the International Science Linkages program under the Australian Government's innovation statement Backing Australia's Ability. We are very pleased that the Embassy of France in Australia is also supporting this workshop. We are able to hold the meeting at the N.S.W. Parliament House with the support of the President of the Australia France Association for Science & Technology (AFAS NSW), Hon John Murray.
