Scale of Nanotechnology Research Effort:

Number of people : one post doctoral fellow, eight PhD students, two masters students. Research supported by ARC discovery project and NHMRC CDF fellowship to Dr Shiddiky.

 

Nanotechnology research facilities:

Fabrication and characterization of microfluidic devices (QMF facility), material characterization equipment (SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR, NMR, etc.), readout systems (SPR, electrochemical work station, inverted microscope, confocal microscope, etc.), biological & clinical samples, antibodies, antigens, cell lines, and standard biological facilities (cell culture, PCR, etc).
