Current Research Activities

1.
The construction of new generation of novel nanobuliding
blocks, through the template-based sequential electrochemical
deposition of metals/semiconductor/polymer segments.
2.
The development and the demonstration of a novel rapid,
label-free, real-time, supersensitive, and selective detection for
2,4,6-Trinitrotoluene (TNT) with the use of large arrays of chemically
modified SiNW-FETs.
3.
Development of a new method for the non-covalent reversible
anchoring of novel multi-lipophilic arm DNA probes into solid
inorganic substrates and sensning applications.
4.
Multiplexed, supersensitive and selective detection of
different cardiac biomarkers (such as Troponin I, Troponin T and
Myoglobin) using Si-NW FET electrical sensor arrays has been
performed.
