Australia Japan Nanophotonics Workshop

The Australia Japan Nanophotonics Workshop will be held during the 9th to the 10th of December 2008.
The Venue for this workshop will be held at the Seminar Room, Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering, Building 60, end of Mills Road, Australian National University in Canberra.
The purpose of the workshop is to strengthen linkages between Australian and Japanese researchers working in the field of Nanophotonics. The workshop consists of invited presentations form Japanese and Australian scientists.
Early Career researchers and Post-graduate students are encouraged to participate in the workshop and present posters in the poster session. The topics covered in the workshop are:
- Quantum Dots
- Photonic Crystals
- Nanowires
- Plasmonics
- Near field and sub wavelength optics
- Light-nanostructure interactions
- Metamaterials
- Other areas on Nanophotonics
