This event will bring together invited leading researchers and their groups from Australia, Italy and France with the aim of fostering and strengthening collaborations amongst these nations in this field. Several invited speakers will be attending, all of whom will be bringing an early career researcher (ECR) and/or PhD student from their group. In addition to strengthening the collaborations between our countries and build stronger links between the participating research groups, this workshop will focus on building interactions between early career researchers from each of the participating organisations. The workshop will be held at Serafino McLaren Vale located in South Australia's picturesque McLaren Vale wine growing region, approximately forty minutes from the metropolitan area [see directions]. The Workshop will be sponsored by the Italian and French Embassies in Australia as well as the South Australian State Government, the Australian Nanotechnology Network and the Institute for Photonics & Advanced Sensing.
