Nanostructures for Electronics Energy and Environment Nano - Australian - Italian School and Workshop on nanotechnology
Peppers Salt Resort, Kingscliff, Australia 12/09/2011 - 16/09/2011
The rapidly emerging areas of nanoscale science and technology are focussed on the design, fabrication, and characterisation of functional objects having dimensions at the nanometre length scale. New advances in this field are expected to have long-range implications in a wide variety of different scientific and engineering disciplines. The importance of nanoscale science is growing worldwide and it is now widely recognised as a critical component to the future growth of the world economy.
Following the successful NanoE3 Australian-Italian workshops in 2007 and 2008, this third edition (NanoS-E3) will broaden the topics area to sensors and nanotechnology and will be opened to other international scientists. Through this international Workshop and School, the scientists will be able to exchange their knowledge and research in the field of nanotechnology focusing on sensors, electronics, energy and environment as well as to establish fruitful collaborations and extend the existing one.
