The Biennial Australian Colloid and Interface Symposium - ACIS 2013

Noosa, Queensland 03/02/2013 - 07/02/2013

This is the main meeting for the Colloid and Interface Science Community in Australia-which naturally encompasses those working on nanoparticles and other nano-related research, additionally, we have a dedicated session called, Frontiers of Colloid and Interface Since which is designed to capture a range of nanotech related topics that are not aligned with other themes. The theme description is; "Colloid and interface science continues to advance along numerous fronts in particular, it plays a central role in nanoscale phenomena including quantum size effects, hydration forces, Casimir forces, nanoscale slip and lubrication, quantized charge phenomena, self-assembly, nanolithography, nucleation and growth of particles and bubbles. The Frontiers theme will explore these fields and other exciting breakthrough areas, which are not within the scope o the other conference sessions.
