The APS has a long established tradition of bringing together the polymer science and engineering communities of Australasia as well as esteemed polymer colleagues from around the world; from the current world-leaders in polymer research and industry to the future generations of polymer scientists. As in past years the APS will provide an exciting forum for both formal presentations of frontier polymer research and ample opportunities for informal discussions and networking. The program for 34APS will cover all areas of polymer science, engineering and technologies from the latest innovations in synthesis, characterization, processing and modeling to the advanced applications of polymers in health, energy and sustainability as well as future materials and devices. In addition, this year will see an expanded symposium dedicated to polymers in industry and translational research. An exciting program of Plenary and Keynote speakers from Australasia and around the world has been crafted into what promise to be another stimulating polymer forum in 2013.
