Conference on Optoelectronic and Microelectronic Materials and Devices (COMMAD2014)
University of Western Australia, Perth 14/12/2014 - 17/12/2014
The aim of the 2014 Conference on Optoelectronic and Microelectronic Materials and Devices (COMMAD) is to bring together industrial collaborators, scientists, engineers and students to discuss new and exciting advances in the fields of optoelectronic and microelectronic materials and devices, with particular emphasis on advanced materials and various aspects of nanotechnology as they relate to nanophotonics and nanoelectronics.
COMMAD2014 will provide a forum to present and discuss recent progress in advanced materials growth and synthesis, processing and characterisation, as well as device physics, design, nanofabrication, testing and applications. COMMAD2014 will cover optoelectronic and microelectronic materials including inorganic and organic semiconductors and technologies such as Si, SiGe, SiC, ZnO, GaAs, InP, GaN, ZnSe, HgCdTe, LiNbO, dendrimers, polymers and porphyrins, etc, as well as nanophotonic and nanoelectronic structures and devices, such as lasers, modulators, photonic crystals, photodetectors, nanowires, optical switches, photovoltaics, waveguides, quantum dots, HBTs, HEMTs, MISFETs, flat panel displays, plastic electronics, electronic sensors, solar cells, fuel cells, etc.
The conference will be held at The University of Western Australia, Perth, from 14th to 17th December 2014. An interesting and varied scientific program is planned with invited presentations (30 minutes), contributed papers (15 minutes) and poster presentations. Contributing papers must be camera-ready and are limited to four A4 pages, and should reach the organisers by July 18th, 2014. Only a limited number of post-deadline papers will be accepted. A conference booklet of contributing papers will be provided to registered participants.
Fully refereed Conference Proceedings will be published by the IEEE. A trade exhibition will be held during COMMAD2014 and prospective exhibitors should contact organisers for further information.
