Emerging Polymer Technologies Summit
RMIT University 22/11/2017 - 24/11/2017
The Emerging Polymer Technologies Summit 2017 (EPTS'17) seeks to bring together key polymer science and technology communities from Australia and around the world to share and discuss the latest innovations in polymer science, engineering and technology, including applications in the areas of health, advanced materials and sustainability. Main topics are: Polymer fundamentals - polymer synthesis, polymerization mechanisms, polymer characterization, polymer and material properties. Polymers for medical, biological and personal care applications - biosensing, drug delivery, biomaterials and implants, diagnostics, imaging agents, and biological separations. Polymers for the environment and sustainability electroactive polymers, solar cells, polymer light-emitting diodes, fuel cells, membranes (e.g for desalination), water treatment, environmental sensors, recycling, green materials, and polymers derived from bio or eco sources. Polymers for advanced materials polymer nanocomposites, carbon fibre composites, nanostructured materials, coatings, dispersants, polymers for 3D printing, porous polymers, stimuli responsive polymers, polymer self-assembly, fibres and textiles.
