The Asia-Oceania Neutron Scattering Association was launched in early 2008. As a first step to promoting neutron science in the Asia-Oceania region, AONSA decided to hold the 1st AONSA Neutron Summer School for students and young scientists in the region. This intensive training program will be available for junior researchers to impart basic fundamental aspects of neutron scattering theory as well as practical experience in experimental design and data analysis.
