Nanotechnology Research Programs/Activities:

Synthesis of polymer nanoparticles via emulsion polymerization.
Design of next generation nanoparticles for drug and vaccine delivery.
Novel nanoparticles for heavy metal removal from drinking water.
Designer polymers for gene delivery.

Scale of Nanotechnology Research Effort:

My groupo has about 15 people working in the area of nanotechnology. I have two ARC Discovery grants to support the group, and other funding. My Group has 4 Post Docs, 8 PhDs, 1 MSc, 2 Hon and 3 undergraduate students.

Nanotechnology research facilities:

We have the latest in polymer characterization - three triple detection SECs.
A HDC for particle analysis and fractionation.
