Nanotechnology Research Programs/Activities:

Fabrication of Nanomaterials as active materials for lithium ion batteries
Nanomaterials for hydrogen storage
Electrocatalysts for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells  

Scale of Nanotechnology Research Effort:

We have extensively working on the nanomaterials for energy storage and conversion for more than 8 years. The group includes 4 researchers, 8 PhD students and 1 technical suppport staff. The current annul budget is around half million excluding the salary of staff members.  

Nanotechnology research facilities:

SEM, FESEM, TEM, AFM, XRD, autoclaves, CHI 660B Electrochemical working station, charge/discharge tester, PCI for hydrogen properties characterization, etc.
