Nanotechnology Research Programs/Activities:

• Characterization of nano machining operation with nanoindenter, atomic force microscope, scanning electron microscope.
• Characterization of nano composites
• Investigation of interfacial fracture toughness of thin films using a novel method.
• Fatigue properties of nano coatings.
 

Scale of Nanotechnology Research Effort:

1 full-time academic staff, 2 full time research scientist, and 4 postgraduate students.
