Nanotechnology Research Programs/Activities:

Graphene, topological insulator thin films, monolayer molybdenum disulphide, scanning probe techniques (STM, AFM)  

Scale of Nanotechnology Research Effort:

Two postdoctoral researchers, two PhD students. Expect to increase to 4-5 PhD students in near future.  

Nanotechnology research facilities:

Electron beam lithography, scanning tunneling microscopy and atomic force microscopy (in ambient, and in UHV at low temperature), Raman microprobe, MBE growth of chalcogenide materials.
