Nanotechnology Research Programs/Activities:

Redox and Optical properties of Metal-Organic Frameworks and Porous Organic Polymers; Photo- and electro-catalytic applications of nanoporous materials; Exploring the interplay between electronic and magnetic properties of mixed-valence materials  

Scale of Nanotechnology Research Effort:

Currently 6 PhD students, 3 Honours students, 1 Postdoctoral Fellow  

Nanotechnology research facilities:

Solid and solution state electrochemical equipment (AC and DC); Solid and solution state spectroelectrochemical equipment (UV-Vis-NIR; EPR; Raman); Spectroscopic equipment (UV-Vis-NIR, EPR, Raman, IR); Gas adsorption instrumentation; photocatalysis testing apparatus
