Nanotechnology Research Programs/Activities:

Low-dimensional nano-materials, metal-organic nanostructures, supramolecular self-assembly, electronic structure, surface science, low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, photoelectron and x-ray spectroscopies, time-resolved spectroscopies.  

Scale of Nanotechnology Research Effort:

4 people (1 group leader, 1 postdoc, 2 phd students), annual budget of ~300kAUD p.a.  

Nanotechnology research facilities:

- Low-temperature scanning probe microscopy lab
- organic molecular beam expitaxy
