Electrospinning of polymer nanofibres, polymer composite nanofibres and inorganic ceramic nanofibres, and large scale production of electrospun nanofibres,

Electrospinning of bicomponent nanofibres (e.g. side-by-side, core-sheath)

Application of electrospun nanofibres in biomedical, chemical sensor, optoelectronics, water treatment, environment and defence areas,

Nano-structured surface treatment to form functionalised textiles/fabrics (e.g. conducting textiles, photochromic fabric and superhydrophobic fabrics)
