Julie’s research interests focus on the relationship between microstructure and properties of materials, with particular emphasis on the application and development of new characterisation techniques.Characterisation techniques include:
* Atom Probe Tomography (APT)
* Focused Ion Beam (FIB) Techniques
* Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) Analysis
* Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD)
* 3D FIB Tomography (including 3D FIB-EBSD)
* Nanoindentation
* Mechanical Testing
