Current Research Activities

Dr. Greg Yuejun Kang is currently a research fellow in the Micro/Nanophysics Research Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Monash University. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in December 2008. Throughout his whole graduate career starting from 2001, Greg has accomplished original research in fundamental microfluidics, nonlinear electrokinetic phenomenon, as well as contributed to the development of integrated microdevices for biomedical detection and manipulation. He has authored and co-authored 22 research papers, of which 21 have been published or officially accepted by peer-reviewed journals. His research interest lies in the fundamental understanding of micro/nanofluidic phenomena and development of Lab-on-a-chip devices for biomedical or environmental applications.
