Current Research Activities

Research is currently dominated by the growth, characterization and development of silica nanowires grown via the active oxidation of a Si substrate.
Research includes:
1) Nanowire growth mechanisms.
2) Nanowire coating for optical, photovoltaic and water purification applications.
3) Secondary nanowire growth
