Development of second-order and third-order nonlinear optical materials.
Fabrication of structures for light guiding: planar optical waveguides, plastic optical fibres.
Characterisation of linear and nonlinear optical properties of cojugated polymers, molecular crystals, organically modified sol-gel glasses and composites.
