•Biomimetic fabrication of inorganic and hybrid thermoelectric nanomaterials for energy storage/conversion;•Optoelectronic device and functional system for next generation optoelectronics based on inorganic nanostructures;
•Design and fabrication of chemical and biological sensing device based on inorganic nanostructures.
