Current Research Activities

My background includes theory and development of finite element methods, for electromagnetic simulation of photonic-crystal fibers and waveguides, fiber optic sensors, integrated optical components, and antennas. I am currently working on plasmonic devices for light-field enhancement control with applications in sensing, solid-state lighting, solar energy harvesting, nano-antennas, and opto-mechanics.
