Current Research Activities

In general, my research interests include, but not limited to,

Synthesis and characterization of diamond hard coatings & surfaces
Development of thin films of different materials for hydrogen storage.
Development of wide band gap semiconducting thin films for high power applications.
Superhard transparent coatings for automobile applications.
Nanomechanical behaviour small volume materials such as organic molecular crystals, thin films, metallic nanowires.
Currently, I am working on pressure induced phase transformations in semiconducting materials.
