Current Research Activities
- characterised to set on the physics of noise in multi-quantum-wells used for photodetection (avalanche photodiodes) and transmission (semiconductor lasers).- modeled, designed and built/fabricated practical resonant tunnelling diodes with 4 to 20 ps switching time and InP resonant tunnelling transistors.
- characterisations and growths in semiconductor thin GaN and InN films at low temperature. - looking for applications for Ultrahigh-bandwidth Devices for Optical Systems (CUDOS)
