Current Research Activities

The synthesis and the measurement of magnetic/catalytic/optical properties in a range of transition and noble metal nanoparticles. The systems produced have diverse applications ranging from use as contrast agents in medical imaging, ultra dense hard drive materials and catalysts for the oil and gas industry; spanning the disciplines of physics, chemistry and biology.
