Current Research Activities

I am currently focused on the electro-optic transport in low dimensional materials, thin film organic compounds and oxides. I have specialized in the research and design of scanning probe microscopes and scanning optical microscopes.

My most recent work is in understanding the electro-optical properties of low dimensional materials such as graphene, the morphology of organic thin films and phase separated manganites. I believe that such investigations are essential in the development and improvement of computer, solar cell and fuel cell technology.
