Current Research Activities

Sheng's research interests involve developing innovative concepts to address the key scientific and technical challenges relating to processing and application of various functional materials, which includes: (1) Developing soft and cost-effective techniques for synthesis and processing of functional nanomaterials; (2)Studying novel applications of these materials for clean energy storage and conversion; (3) Investigating the mechanisms through both theoretical and experimental studies.
