Current Research Activities

Alan is an interdisciplinary researcher in the field of polymer science. He has a broad knowledge within polymer science such as synthesis, characterization, production and modification techniques. His research projects have resulted in multiple scientific articles. He works well as part of a team or individually by minimal supervision. Alan’s capabilities are his experience in problem solving in complex systems, commitment, and communication skills and delivering technical solutions to a diverse range of complex problems.

His key abilities include:
• Experience in analyzing project requirements.
• Adapt to new and exciting challenges with commitment to project.
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills through full project life cycle from capturing initial requirements to designing and delivering results.
• Sound practical and in-depth academic knowledge of core research tools and methods.

Skills:
• Evaluating and interpreting the results of data analyses. 

• Analysis tools - SEM, TEM, AFM, NMR, DSC, TGA, XPS, ESR.
• Collecting and analyzing large data sets. 

• Conducting literature searches and writing reviews. 

• Familiarity with 3D drafting concepts and computer-assisted design/drafting software.
