Current Research Activities

My research interests are in developing new semiconducting materials and nanostructures, particularly solid solutions and doped materials, for use in renewable energy applications such as photocatalysis. I do this using a combination of computational (e.g. density functional theory) and experimental approaches. The focus of my work is understanding relationships between composition and properties.
