Current Research Activities

My project is a collaboration between the Intelligent Polymer Research Institute, a conducting polymer-focused research group, and the National Centre for Sensor Research, Dublin City University, who have an interest in the use of microfluidic systems for environmental monitoring. The drive for this project came from the need for an efficient, low power pumping mechanism for microfluidics systems, to enable the large scale field deployment of these devices.
