Current Research Activities

I did my Masters in Research in Biomedical Science at Glasgow University, Scotland. The title of my Masters' Project was "Elucidating the Function of Penetratin and a Static Magnetic Field in Cellular Uptake of Magnetic Nanoparticles". I completed the course in October 2012 with Merit. I was awarded the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, International Fellowship to pursue my Ph.D at Deakin University, Australia. I started as a Ph.D student in the Nanomedicine group at Deakin under supervision of Professor Jagat R Kanwar in Feb 2015. The title of my Ph.D project is "Neem Plant Based Nanobiopesticides and Targeted Cancer Nanotherapy". I have published 4 articles in peer reviewed journals and 2 book chapters. I was awarded the best student presentation award at the School of Medicine Seminar Series, Deakin University in 2016.
