Current Research Activities

I am using electrochemical synthesis method for making nanostructured metal sulphides such as transition metal sulphides. These metal sulphides have synergistic effect on hydrogen evolution when they are mixed with other nanomaterials such as gold. Core-shell nanostructured bi-metallic compounds have the properties of higher hydrogen evolution compared to others. My current special interest is to make them electrochemically and test their properties as catalysts for overall water splitting
