Current Research Activities

Lithium and sodium ion battery research: synthesis and testing of metal oxide based nanomaterials as anodes in lithium and sodium ion batteries. In situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) studies to investigate the true and dynamic structure– property relationship of nanomaterials, particularly in situ lithiation and de-lithiation of individual nanostructures to understand the cyclic stability of nanomaterials in depth.
