Current Research Activities

My group is currently investigating molecular self-assembly at solid surfaces using STM and other techniques. We are particularly interested in identifying how substrate curvature (at the nanoscale) affects the self-assembly process. Self-assembly of both porphyrin molecules and of poly(3-hexylthiophene) on carbon nanotubes, titania nanotubes and highly order pyrolitic graphite are being studied.
