Current Research Activities
I am Misbah Naz, I have done PhD (chemistry) and Master by research degree (Chemistry) and Master of philosophy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) with GPA 3.3/4 . I did my thesis consulting the expert professors in the field of Nanomaterials, Biochemistry and Phytochemistry, Electrochemistry, Material Science and also carried out some projects in the biochemistry laboratory of Government College University Lahore Pakistan and Australian National University (ANU). My research focus is on the Green/Chemical synthesis of Nanomaterials, their catalytic activities for the treatment of industrial waste water, antibacterial efficiency, drug loading and Anticancer potential against MCF7-FLV breast cancer cell lines. I also have experience on natural compound isolation, their characterization and antioxidant potential of bioactive compounds in dried herbs. Therefore, I am quite familiar with different laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometer, SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR, TGA, BET, GC/MC and HPLC.
