Current Research Activities

(1)Developing new techniques to synthesize functional nanostructures (nanoparticles, nanofibres, nanotubes and ultrathin films) including chemical routes, self-assembly, electrospinning and electrospray;
(2) Graphene-based films, nanocomposites and electronic devices
(3) Conducting polymer nanostructures
(4) Exploration of unique properties and applications of new materials in a wide range of fields such as nanoscale electronic devices, sensors, catalysis, energy storage/conversion and bioengineering
